We don’t know what’s taking Volkswagen so long but we’ve waited long enough to get the new redesigned Golf on the stateside. Apparently, we’re just weeks away from seeing the 2010 Volkswagen Golf in U.S. dealerships and pricing for the model has been revealed on Volkswagen’s website.

Previously known as the Rabbit, the 2010 Volkswagen Golf will start at $17,490 for the entry-level 170-hp 2.5L 2-door model. The 4-door model with the same engine will start at $19,190. Fuel-economy for both models is estimated at 22/30 mpg (city/highway).
