I've heard rumors of Daimler stealing many talented young designers from Chrysler a few years back. Its not a coincidence that the following years Chrysler rolled out some designs that just sucked. At the same time Mercedes design language radically changed from conservative to aggressive styling. Also, have you ever wondered what ever happened to the Chrysler design studio in southern California? They were once the best of the best of designers before this merger.
