AUTOSPIES EXCLUSIVE: Want to see the new S-Class in person but don't want to wait until the Detroit auto show? We show you where you can see it today

AUTOSPIES EXCLUSIVE:The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is one of the most anticipated new luxury models to come around in a long time.

Always a groundbreaker, the new S-Class promises not to disappoint with things like second generation distronic radar cruise and the most sophisticated night vision system yet to make it to market.

Even though it been publicized that the first place you’ll be able to see one is the Detrot auto show, the Spies have just been tipped off that Mercedes-Benz has secretly dropped off one S550 to most dealers around the country.

And you can go to your dealer and see it, touch it, feel it and maybe even drive it TODAY!!!!

Let’s show the auto dealers of the world and Mercedes-Benz the power of AutoSpies.com.

We’re asking all our readers to give their local dealers a call tonight of tomorrow and tell them you heard they have units and you want to come in and see one…

Make sure you tell them the Spies tipped you off to the news….

We’ll be checking it out tomorrow and will have pics for you by tomorrow afternoon.

Is Mercedes now "borrowing" styling cues from Lexus?

I went to the Christmas light spectacular tonight at my local park and nearly died when I saw the new S550 in front of me in line.

Luckily I was with a major car buff and we both freaked.

This car is pretty impressive.

It was a black AMG Sport equipped model.

I slammed this car before, but my mouth dropped when I saw it in person.

It was a dealer car and had the window sticker on it ($96,000)

I was really impressed. Hopefully they fixed the electronics.

We got ours wednesday night. Our local news station even came by to check it out yesterday. It should be a great new vehicle for our lineup. Hope to see you all at the lot!!

...if MB can keep the quality of this new, pivotal car in their lineup high. But it looks like a big Maxima in profile.

We have had ours for 2 weeks now, I'm new to MB after 5 years with Audi so I can be a bit biased but comparing the S500 to this new model is like comparing a VW beetle to an A8...it is very, very tight.....the old model always seemed very soft where the 550 is very nimble and agile. We have pre-sold 52 units as of 12/24/05.....gonna be a good year.........:)

front grill and air-dam design is plucked right out of Lexus LS's page!

Why is it that you Lexus fella's always come right out of the chute with LS this GS that..Blah, Blah, Blah....without even driving or doing a CONCISE competitive comparison....Perhaps it's because your a bit envious and could never handle dropping 93 Large on this stunning vehicle. Give the 550 a drive and a complete going over side by side before opening your pie-hole.....:)

Perhaps not the grill but the hood, headlight and airdam looks almost exactly like Lexus's in my opinion.

The spies were right. Drove by Mercedes-Benz of Nashville, and parked out front is a S550. Nice looking car. Was there before the dealer opened, so only got to peer in the windows of the car.

Closest thing to MB hardly could be BMW and Audi. The Lexoyota you can could compare hardly bith Cadillac or Acura, not even with Infiniti
