BMW X5 M looks great in silver
While the first BMW X5 M and X6 M models are starting to show up at U.S. dealerships across the country, we thought it would be interesting to show you some new, real life photos of the BMW X5 M, the first Motorsport SAV built by the Munich based automaker.

BMW X5 M is powered by a tuned up 4.4 liter V8 M engine delivering 555 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque from 1,500 to 5,650 rpm. The engine uses the twin-scroll twin turbo technology with High Precision Direct Injection.

I prefer red or white and the wheel arhces look fine to me....my thing is when is BMW going to get into the deep dish sports wheels I would think they would have a better aestetic effect on the look of this truck. maybe a 21" or a 22" deep dish will make it sit right. I love this truck but I think I would take the X6M over this. The closest thin we had to a M in the previous model was the 4.8 with the M package which was a beautiful truck in blue.

@B7FAN - Manufactures will never do it because its too expensive for consumer cars.

I hated the X5 and X6 in pictures. I saw the X6 M coming at me on a two lane street yesterday and it was surprisingly attractive. I wouldnt buy a new one though

The air inlet below the grille makes the whole front looks terribly cluttered. Would've looked nice without it.

I love the looks of this car, but I have two comments on it:
Firstly, the exhaust tips look quite small, I think they should have made them bigger, and secondly, the rim design could have been much nicer, especially knowing that there are M styled blacked out rims sold in dealerships that look much better. But other than that, I love this car.

Here in middle East we get a special limited edition BMW X5 for 2010, it's sportier than X5 with M bodykit and placed in between X5 M bodykit and X5M.
That means refreshed X5 is near and there is good chance BMW will show the refreshed X5 with X6 headlights like in X5M and other changes especially 400BHP V8 in Frankfurt Auto Show.
