2010 Volvo C70 revealed ahead if Frankfurt Motor Show
Volvo revealed today the facelifted version of the C70 coupe-cabriolet, which borrows the new design line showed by the S60 Concept. According to the manufacturer, the new vehicle carries redesigned front wings to give the car a wedge shape, new headlights and larger intakes, in order to bring a new aggressive look to the stylish cabrio.

“We have carefully redesigned the front and rear of the car so they harmonise more with the larger Volvo models. We have also increased the exclusiveness of the interior materials and trim details to enhance the feeling of luxury,” explains Fedde Talsma, Exterior Chief Designer of Volvo Cars.

I've always been a fan of the C70 despite not having RWD. They won't make a solid top since it has a retractable hard roof. Which IMO is one of the best in the industry. The current C70 gets my eye when it goes by, this one will too. Now if they only made an R version.

If you want a coupe, wait for the new S60, it will have one in the lineup.

I heard the S60 launch will be delayed, looking forward to see what it looks like. The outgoing S60 has been around for so long. Nice job on the C70 facelift.

the c70's always impressed me... i find the current model, one of the best looking hard-top convertibles available, styling wise.

no doubt this model will be another head turner

The current C70 is definitely a looker. I just wish Volvo would offer an engine option that was becoming of the $50k+ price tag. It's bad enough the car weighs 3,800lbs, but then you pair it with a weak engine....c'mon.

I still think the First Gen. C70 is the hotter of the 2, especially in the limited Saffron Orange or Rose Metallic. The movie "The Saint" sucked, but it made me want to buy a C70 2.3 HPT T5 after watching it. Gorgeous car. Too bad the convertible version looked horrible when the top was up.
