ABT gives 420 hp to the Audi TT-RS! Is the R8 in danger?

After Sportec, who upgraded the Audi TT-RS to an impressive 400hp, ABT revealed today its latest tuning kit for the brand new sports car from the German manufacturer. The tuning company decided that 340 hp is not too much power and added an extra 80 hp in order to obtain an impressive 420 hp (309kW), the same power of the Audi R8!

With these numbers the Audi TT-RS can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds while the top speed is limited to 282 km/h… We don’t want to think what a Stage 2 of this kit could do!

The R8 isn't in danger because of the simple fact that the R8 is a stock production car. The ABT TT-S is not sold at dealerships and is full of add-ons.

Actually tryme, the GTR has reached 62mph in just over 3 seconds, I think 3.1 or 3.2 tested by a European Magazine.
