Update : More 2010 SLS AMG Images And Details Leak Out
New shots have sprung up of the 2010 Mercedes Benz  SLS AMG and overall I have to say these give a better perspective than last nights preview shots. But are those gull wing doors going to be a styling hit or simply a miss?

With a 197 mph top end and an estimated 0-60 of 3.7 seconds you may be foolish to question the performance potential. And those fansboys might want to think twice about the technology because the new SLS AMG has a SPEEDSHIFT 7-speed dual-clutch semi-automatic transmission complete with a carbon fiber drive shaft translate all of the engine power into real performance.

As soon as more details surface we will let you know.

Hahahahahaha!!! New conspiracy theory. . . BMW sent Bangle over to Mercedes to blow up their designs for a whole generation. Good work Bangle!

My god it's REPULSIVE! Every time I look at another pic it gets WORSE. 1st gen Acura CL rear end with CTS headlamps and a 1st grader's rendering of a Viper profile. . . Ohh I hope I never see one in person. At least not too soon after I eat.

I love those doors. The interior is classy, and I especially love the cockpit feeling it has... ooo those buttons to the left of the gearshirt that do all sorts of tricks and stuff lol

Love it. The retro styling treatment seems to work nicely on this. Roundish and curvacious where it needs to be, but boxy in other places in line with the current MB styling direction. Looks good.

It is just not simple enough to be beautiful and too conventional to be daring. Cars like this - particularly those priced like this- are supposed to be extreme examples of some particular thing. This is bits of so many things that seems to be nothing.

It just is so...uninspired to me, which strikes me as so strange given the original is simply stunning.

It's ugly!

The problem here comes from that, because many carmakers started bringing back to life their old legends - Ford GT, Chevy Camaro, Dodge Challenger, Fiat 500, Citroen DS and 2CV, electrical Trabant and so on.

That's why from MB decided that they should reborn 300SL Gullwing, but they did one huge mistake. MB designed it by themself. Why MB, why? Why didn't you assign the design to some Italian studio?
