Video: Jay Leno visits McLaren to check out the MP4-12C
Earlier this morning we saw our first look at the new McLaren MP4-12C. A video of Jay Leno visiting McLaren at their headquarters has popped up on the Internet showing the car enthusiast checking out the new McLaren. Watch as McLaren’s managing directory, Antony Sheriff, gives Jay Leno a personal tour on McLaren and the new MP4-12C.

Refresher: Power comes from a 3.8L V8 twin-turbo engine producing around 600-hp mated to a 7-speed Seamless Shift dual-clutch gearbox (SSG). 0 to 60 mph is expected to come in the low 3 second range with a top seed of more than 200 mph.

Had the opportunity to meet and talk with Jay a few years back. He was driving his Stanley Steemer. Nice guy, and very personable.

The guy really intimidates me because he really knows his cars, old or new. His opinions are reasonable, and I'm nowhere near the lifestyle he's got! :D

I'am not impressed with the the front and the back of this car. It looks like its got to much plastic.

I loved the old maclaren F1, and even though I am expecting a modern representation of a new one this one externally doesnt do it for me. Internally its another matter altogether, it looks like it will be easy to drive, the steering wheel is small, just like the old one, and "flappy paddles" sounded solid. Ergonomics look great as well.
The external side and color selection is great, the front and back layout needs to be smoothed out. Just my $0.02
