FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW: The Coolest Feature On The The LF-Ch Concept Is From Apple?
We just went live a little while ago with the first official Frankfurt Motor Show photos showing off the all new Lexus LF-Ch Concept.

It's gorgeous, raises he bar in the hot hatch segment (heck, hot hatches could be the next SUV craze if they are this cool!) and is pure Lexus.
But one of the features you may not notice at first glance, could be a look at the future of rear audio/video and entertainment systems.
And being a former Apple employee and current stockholder, I'm encouraged that it is from Apple.
Check out the integration of the iPod touch/iPhone into the back of the rear headrests.
Is this how all future systems will be powered and is Apple on the verge of owning the in car market?
I'm told inside the secret walls, a Microsoft SYNC killer is in the works and could be announced as early as MacWorld in 2010.
Should be interesting to see who the first auto manufacturers will be at the launch.
I say Lexus and BMW are a virtual lock.
Go Apple!!!

Exactly! I'm tired of this undue fanaticism over all things Apple.
They sold a lot of phones and Mp3 players in the last few years. Woopdidoo. Lets start seeing multi-platform support instead of just the current iPod fad. Anyways, didn't Ferrari already do this with the 16M convertible?

That's true about today's keynote, but Apple has established itself much better in the portable media market than Microsoft has.
I don't think any auto company is knocking down Bill Gates' door trying to get a Zune- integrated automotive system partnership.

I want something similar to what Badgewhore is talking about. I want the ability to wirelessly charge and push content from my mobile device to the information display in my car.
