FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW: Bentley Mulsanne gets 505-hp V8
At its Frankfurt debut, Bentley finally decided to reveal some technical specs of the Mulsanne. Power will come from a 6.75L twin-turbocharged V8 engine making 505-hp with a maximum torque of 725 lb-ft. Unfortunately, 0 to 62 mph and top speed figures were not released.

Bentley also showed the interior of the Mulsanne for the first time here in Frankfurt. The interior stays true to the classic signature features that have defined Bentleys from the 1920s to the present day; however, they now feature some daily necessities like the start/stop engine button a multimedia system with 40GB hard disc drives satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, mp3 player compatibility, a state-of-the-art 14-speaker audio system with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and 6-CD autochanger and much more.

YOur comment is odd, if that were true than there would be no need for 500+hp, 8000+rpm we arent talking an M3 or 911, or something that has a high revving engine its a large V8 for gods sake regardless those are unimpressive numbers for such a large engine, and with twin turbos, 752lbs of torque is just overkill, and for what "does the average buyer care about towing a semi?" Since you know the average buyer?

The more horsepower you make at lower RPM the more torque you have. It's a mathematical equation. The more torque you have at low RPM, the more horsepower you have at those low RPM. This means the Mulsanne V8 is pumping out 260 horsepower at 1,800 RPM. While other engine are producing significantly less horsepower at the same RPM. Which means the Bentley will be ahead from the stoplight.

Stately. Elegant. Yet those headlights are too bling-alicious for my sensibilities :-(

I know the Rolls comes with place to store umbrellas, I wonder if this come with a place to store the "ugly stick" it was beaten with.

For me, those rims clash with the bentley's body design, especially with the front end.
