Best Challenger pics yet

I HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF CHALLENGERS RECENTLY: A 70 & A 71. THIS CONCEPT IS PRETTY MUCH ON. HOWEVER, I WOULD SUGGEST THAT THE CHALLENGER NAMEPLATE ON THELEFT REAR QUARTER PANEL BE MOVED TO THE FRONT FENDER LIKE THE 70 MODEL. HOW CAN YOU HAVE A BUMBLEBEE STRIPE (BLACK OF COURSE) WITH THAT CHALLENGER EMBLEM. THE 6.1 HEMI WOULD BE GREAT, BUT THE 393 CUBIC INCH 500 HP ENGINE WOULD BE BETTER.

OVERALL IT IS A GREAT REINCARNATION OF MY BELOVED CHALLENGERS. I CERTAINLY WOULD PURCHASE ONE. JUST THINK A GREAT BODY & REAR DRIVE HORSEPOWER WITH MODERN TECHNOLOGY-WHAT MORE COULD A MOPAR FAN WANT. DODGE HAS GOT TO BUILD THIS ONE.
I WOULD APPRECIATE NOT SEEING ANOTHER MISTAKE OF THE 1999 DODGE CHARGER CONCEPT WHICH WAS GREAT, BUT WHEN REALITY HIT IT WAS JUST OK.

I COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT CHRYSLER BUILT THE CROSSFIRE & NOT THE CHARGER CONCEPT.

why do american manufacturers keep looking to the past for their cars? Instead why not look into the future?

Have we learned nothing about aerodynamics since the 70's?

Remeber that pile of crap?

Was the PT cruiser a success? The crossfire hasn't been. The 300 seems to have been, but has the viper been all that profitable?

Lord people cry about, looks too retro, looking to the past, blah blah blah.....well hell what has come out of Detroit in the last 20 yrs that you can remember and say "Now that was a damn cool car...."? Nothing! If American companies have to grab onto the past to generate some soul it lost through the lat 20 yrs I say DO IT! Chysler has had success with its retro digging around in its styling. The PT Cruiser has been successful for Chrysler as has its mob-style 300 Series. I don't see Ford's Five Hundred rushing people to its showrooms, nor has the new Chevy Impala lit a fire in anyone's hearts. So I say let American car manufacturer's toy around with retro designs to be able to get profitable again and research cars that can really be cool for the future.

I'm not a huge fan of American cars, but this car is really beautiful. I've got the magazine. This car says muscle better than the Mustang does - the only reissue I truly enjoy looking at. The small details (check the headlight design, the interior and the rear end up-close) are astounding. This may be the only American car I'd be willing to buy, other than a Z06 Vette.
