Breaking News: Porsche Boxster R coming to the LA Auto Show

According to the latest reports from CAR Magazine, a Porsche Boxster R is in the works and it is going to be revealed at this year’s LA Auto Show. If you remember, the American show was the same chosen by Porsche last year, when the 2009 Boxster and Cayman made their official debut.

Now, regarding the Boxster R, it appears that the new car will come with a redesigned front bumper, new side intakes and a bigger rear spoiler. Under the hood, the new car is expected to use the 3.4-litre flat-six currently found in the Boxster S capable to develop around 320 hp.

that means its edging onto 911 territory. the boxster is a good handling car though ill give it that. its just the media and some fanboys that ruined its image by saying its a poormans porsche. what do you call a lexus then? a poor mans mercedes? same shit different pile.
