M-sport package for the Bmw Z4 coming in 2010
The latest spy shots indicate that Bmw, the well-known Bavarian car manufacturer is currently working on an M Sport Pack for the brand new 2009 Bmw Z4 Roadster. Some of you may say this is the M-version of the Z4 but we will remind those who think this that Bmw announced there will be not Z4 M and the reason is simple: the 4.2-liter V8 engine found on the current version of the M3 is too big and heavy. This means you will have to be satisfied by the 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque from the 3.0-liter biturbo engine.

Very cool. I'm excited. I've test driven both. The 30i was shockingly disappointing. Way underpowered. The 35i with it's turbos and dc 7AT was much more fun (in Sport mode) but still probably not enough for some. Further tuning and a tougher look will be a good 3rd variant for this model and should cover every personality. I will seriously consider one in 2010 if this is true.
