HOT! BMW to unveil two new concepts

From an recent BusinessWeek interview with BMW's Adrian van Hooydunk...

"BMW design blends dynamics and elegance. Our two new crossover concepts will be unique in the industry, mixing elements of different car segments. The sports activity vehicle will combine [features] from SUVs with those of a coupe, and the second model will combine the utility aspects of a touring vehicle with the elegance of a limousine."

AutoSpies.com decoder/prediction: Look for an Infiniti FX-like concept with a CLS style roof and a competitor to the Mercedes R-Class.

There is no doubt that BMWs are dynamic, but don't go calling the "elegant" while trying to keep a straight face. Or "attractive."

New Slogan: "BMW. Sure We're Ugly, But We Go Like Skink!"

Ummm... did folks not read about the announcements at last year's Geneva Motor Show? The part where BMW's chairman confirmed that a 'space functional concept' and a 'crossover utility coupe' are both confirmed for production? This is not only old news, it' not accurate--while BMW may show 'concepts' for these vehicles early, they're both destined for production.
