Lamborghini considering a leap into luxury sedans

According to the latest reports from Automotive News, it appears that Lamborghini executives are considering a leap into luxury sedans. This move comes after they saw that all the prestige brands are trying it: Porsche with the Panamera and Aston Martin with the recently unveiled Rapide four-door sedan.

The Italian manufacturer is planning to equip the upcoming sedan with an all-wheel-drive transmission as well as a V10 engine, currently found on the Audi RS6 and capable to develop 580 hp. If built, the new Lamborghini four-door sedan will be based on the Estoque Concept, shows back in 2008 at the Paris Auto Show. Of, course the car was officially denied by the Italian manufacturer but now let’s be honest… they wouldn’t say a word even if the car was photographed the streets…

This is THE best news I have heard from LAMBO since the concept ESTOQUE. If the production vehicle looks anything like the ESTOQUE concept.......GOOD BYE Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide, and BUGATTI Galibier.......the GAME IS OVER FOR THE EXOTIC SEDAN MARKET. the ESTOQUE(CONCEPT) IS THE PRETTIEST OUT OF ALL OF THEM

although i do agree with you on most of what you said but the Rapide is beautiful also. you also got to keep in mind, what's good looking to you may not be to others and vice versa. that being said, this is good news to a big lamborghini fanatic such as myself. the Estoque concept (to me) is a damn good looking sedan.

I like the Rapide also but that ESTOQUE has the !!!WOW!!! factor the other sedans (design wise) dont have it over the ESTOQUE in my personal opinion.

The Estoque is beautiful, but I wish they would just make the headlights a more extended over the hood of the car like the LP640 or LP560. It would have looked even nicer!

yeah listen....1995e34.....lay off the embalming fluid your literally killing yourself. the panamera is the worst looking out of the segment the Aston Rapide looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the panamera I think.

I think they should build a Porsche Boxter rival to. Then a Mercedes CLS rival, Oh lets not forget a family passenger car. Oh wait, Isnt lamborghini a supercar company? Whatever they do in the Luxury field, they are going to make it overprice. I for one would rather the experience from a Rolce Royce.
