Refreshed BMW 3-Series Coupe: Can YOU See The Difference And Point Out The Changes?

Refreshed BMW 3-Series Coupe: Can YOU See The Difference And Point Out The Changes?
You know what time it is.  With the E92 starting to hit puberty it is time for an update.  BMW has traditionally done mid-lifecycle updates in the form of restyled headlamps and taillights as well as different front/rear clips.  Relatively minor stuff, but in some instances it can change the whole character of a vehicle.

For instance, on E46 coupes when the headlights were given a more streamlined look, it took away the angry glare that was presented when the model first debuted.

A featured item at Bimmerpost shows slightly modified headlights that evoke a 7-Series like look.  In addition,  a chrome strip, reminiscent of a 3-Series sedan front valence, is mimicked.  These minor modifications present the 3 coupe in a more elegant fashion.

Is this a better design direction for the E92 or should BMW draw up some meaner and more aggressive?  Let us know!

Sometimes it's the little details that count.

Well the hood and the lights have been changed. the lower front facsia has been re-done. I like it I liked the previous one and the one before that and so on. still looks stunning in my opinion.

If you'll remember, they did the exact same thing to the E46 coupe on its refresh in 2004. They took it from snarling, mean, M3 looking beast, to a super girly front-end.

This is a speculative rendering, not a press release. Why get excited?

Weird, most people with any sort of visual sense agree that it is one of the most gorgeous cars under 50k. Crazily enough, I agree.

I like the more aggressive front fascia on my '07.

Refresh? Glad to see that Autospies finally is able to tell the difference between a refresh and a new model. Usually a post like this on autospies would be titled "New 3-series Coupe".

Not much difference from the old one. The old one looked fine, however, so no harm done.

Actually, the front end looks quite good. Nicely stretched with the lights being more pronounced in going back more. I like it. Good jump beenie.

Headlights look crap and cheap. Current ones look WAY better

00R- We're all about sick and tired of your posts TRYING to be like the other 00's posts, which are (for the most part) accurate, timely, and engaging- your posts are none of these things. You're trying to pass off this post as a revelation & that we should spot the tiny differences to the original e92. Guess what? There nearly are none because this is a VERY mildly photoshopped original e92 NOT an LCI e92! Get it in gear and get these things right instead of making yourself (and thus the site) look amateurish.

wording, man- wording. that's all I'm saying... carefully crafted & creative wording makes all the difference.

Hmmmm... are you saying that another 00 is giving you things to post? That's interesting.
