Can YOU Guess The MOST Researched Cars By The Gay Community? HINT, They're NOT Subaru's
Gay and lesbian vehicle shoppers' behavior is often stereotyped as being all luxury and all convertibles. In reality, the data dispels that myth while giving some credence to it at the same time. Today, Gaywheels.com announced its list of the Top 10 Most-Researched Vehicles during the third quarter of 2009

"If LGBT consumers' behavior is indicative of future trends, there may be a light at the end of the tunnel for auto makers," said Gaywheels.com founder Joe LaMuraglia. “For the first time there is a luxury sports car in the #1 spot on the list. Historically, that slot has been held by stylish, affordable and fuel efficient vehicles. We also have the most luxury vehicles ever represented in the research data.”

This list is funny :) I like how the beauty queen supercar with no power tops it all.

Yes, I'd really be afraid to merge onto a highway in an R8. It's a great little city commuter, though. Throw a canopy on the top and you've got a stylish little golf cart, too.

That's funny but the gay guys at work are all lusting after a GTR. They say they like that big, rugged, brawny, overweight ugly Gay Bear look.

Joe is most certainly NOT being sarcastic. It's a bang-for-the-buck thing. Any car that can't beat the Z06 Nurburgring lap time for near the same amount of money is shite. Apparently, he's gotta get somewhere real fast that will cost him a bundle once he get's there--my guess is the hairdresser.

lol you're right about me not being sarcastic. But when people call a car a supercar I expect performance... 420hp in a midengined "supercar" is weak. Especially when you couple in it only has 317ft-lbs of torque. And you are also right about the z06, only the z06 isn't a supercar, it's a sports car that can even best the v10 variant of this beauty queen.

Joe_Limon,

There's also a V10 R8 with more power. But I get your point.

Not surprised the R8 is popular among this crowd with the way it looks.

Hey few months ago We saw a survey were the must popular brand with the gay community was the BMW and they bought that brand more than any other brand...and I still love M3 and M5 and 335 TTi and I do not care what people think, R8 is nice ...if you feel gay cause you like it....I do not want to be next to you....thats mean you are not sure of who you are...lol...I am MB lover I don't care about what the people think, If my girl know who am I..thats enough for me...and I have some friends that they are gay..and let me give you a good news, they are normal people and to be gay is not a disease of sexual transmission, you won't become in a Gay just because deal with them as with normal people.

All of those cars are popular whether you're straight or homosexual.

Look at what Obama drives, a Ford Escape Hybrid.

What a moron.

Agreed, I think cars demonstrate more peoples' insecurities, not all the time, just more that sexuality does. e.g. middle-aged guy buying sports car, etc.

All the Lesbians bought Subaru's and since they don't fall apart they keep them 89772389923 miles even when they do fall apart. The only ones with money are the gay men because they aren't tied down to a women spending thousands and thousands just to get laid once in a while and can afford VW's that are unreliable with the accept of a few GTI's that have manual gearboxes. The gay guys want cute cars and pay for them I guess. The DSG is just not there yet I heard/read on many forums.

I always love posts like this where the topic centers around homosexuality in a forum dominated by heterosexual males. It forces all of the insecure straight "men" (for lack of a better word) with 3" dicks to show their hand and belt out comments that truly demonstrate their ignorance. I for one am a gay man and if I had a dollar for every time a "straight" man (married or otherwise) tried to pick me up, I would be wealthy. Grow up, HuyndaiSmoke. Since we're speaking of stereotypes, I drive a 2010 BMW 535 with the M Sport package. I didn't see it on this list so I must actually be straight, right?

It seems that as of late, every topic takes the "gay" twist. This site is so 20 years behind the trends of the rest of western culture. I recall being a kid on the grade school playground, hearing people calling people "gay" as an insult. It was almost acceptable then. I thought those days were long gone. Now the term, when used in a derogatory manner is only an insult to every listener's intelligence.

Wow... were you beaten as a child? Or perhaps molested by your uncle or something? You have some serious insecurity issues, the fact that you think that men need to "fight and take their honor back" truly amazes me. I don't know of any men who feel their "honor" has been stripped - wait, I take that back, I can think of a few men with chips on their shoulders who feel that way, of course those are the same men who have been left by their wives because they're self-centered and egotistical arsholes and feel a woman's place is in the kitchen, they shouldn't be allowed to be educated and that they are somehow better than anyone who doesn't see the world through their eyes. It's narrow-minded, bigoted and ignorant people like you who are spreading and infecting vulnerable children with your backwoods and prehistoric mentality. I surely hope for the sake of our country you DON'T have any children who will bring your nonsense morals into their adulthood and continue spreading YOUR disease. Get your head out of your ass, there's more to life than judging other people and criticizing the beliefs/views of others - try to demonstrate a little intelligence and diversity... It's what separates us from the simple-minded primates from which we evolved from although in extreme cases such as yourself, I see the evolution process stopped somewhat short...

You're turn (this should be entertaining).
