Total Recall: The Largest Product Recalls
You are the horror every car manufacturer - they are connected to one with enormous costs and the other with a large loss of image. We're talking about product recalls, the force at best, but thousands, in the worst case, several million drivers with their car in the workshops.

The latest example from the series "recalls far beyond the million mark" provided here in North America.  Due to a problem with the speed controller, the company said in October 2009 4.5 million vehicles of the type Windstar pickup and SUV models and brands of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury in the workshops. The defective part can cause 20 euro in the worst case a fire. Previously other Ford models were affected by product recalls for the same problem, so that amounts to the number of recalled vehicles to a total of 16 million. This ranks as the largest recall by Ford and probably the largest recall ever....

I totally agree and as it seems, if these large companies can get away with this, then for them fine. The cost of the pay out sometimes is better than the recall. What to do when almost every company has this as a standard practice.
