Interesting back story behind this U.K. footballer's car:

"EL-HADJI Diouf appeared to dodge a penalty after a parking warden missed an open goal.

The former Bolton Wanderers star enjoyed a pizza at San Carlo restaurant in Manchester city centre while the massive gold Cadillac Escalade he had arrived in sat in a loading bay.

A traffic warden spotted the offence - but was unable to issue a £70 fine because her hand-held computer was not working. Diouf was later seen laughing and smiling as he drove off."

First I wouldn't buy an Escalade. Theres just something funny to me about buying a dressed up tahoe that won't allow me to justify spending all of that extra money when I can get almost every feature the escalade has on a denali or a tahoe for about $25k less. At least a range rover of GLK mercedes isn't a dressed up version of another cheap brand. People are so gullible and stupid to waste all of that money on the same damn truck with a different grill, headlights and instrument cluster. Whats even more amazing is that people actually think it's a cadillac and that it shares nothing with the tahoe/suburban/denali. Kind of like buying a grand marquis and actually thinking it has nothing in common with a crown victoria.
