AUTO SPIES EXCLUSIVE: The next BMW 3-series coupe?

It was elegant and pretty, with every line and crease in exactly the right place.

The M3 added masculinity to the elegance by way of wider arches and track, a lower stance and minor fettling of design.

In my opinion, this shape above, real or not, is an even better canvas for a masculine M3 version.

Looks ok for the replacement to the last one. If this is the car, it seems slimmer in it's profile, maybe it has lost a few pounds to perform even better. If you wanna see the M3 version, pick up a copy of the British Mag. CAR and they have a frontal shot of the new M3

looks like a photochop, hope the real thing is better.

the wheels are a photoshop for sure, which is good because they don't look very nice. I hope it's a little more aggressive than that when it comes to production.

Just look at the rear area,looks as boring as 6 series's and front bumper,oh my god they have ruined the 3 series design whih was reflecting from it, and made it something else.

Just hide the front lights and kidney grille with your finger on this pic and really u will not able to recognise it.

Atleast this isn't the case with current 3 Coupe.

Surely current design is much much better, simpler and straightforward than this complex car.

if you cover the grill its kinda looks like the gto. Not saying its ugly, but it doesnt look like a bmw.

I personally think bungle designed the m6 to look like the 95 riveria.

I THINK NO,IT ISN'T THE PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR THIS LEGENDARY COUPE,BECAUSE IT SHOULD REFLECT SPORTINESS,MUSCULARITY,SPEEEED,POWER,EYE-CATHCHING AND EXTRA ORDINARY.

The Alpina is the best looking 6 series I have seen, but certainely by far not the best car I have ever seen.

Why because it has 2 doors and a BMW logo? These cars are of completely different proportions, and the BMW designers would tar and feather you for comparing the 2 styles.

The one in grey looks more like last years IS (if they made a coupe) than a BMW.

I havethe 2004 325ci and it is the bestlooking coupe in that class. I dont think they can improve onit.

I will decide on it after I see the rear... If the madethe rear look japanese like the 4-door version, then they've lost me.

After all peolpe like it so much,it's very very dominent,leader in it's whole class,then why it has to give any slight weakness to it's strong and clever competitors like G35,MB,Audi,lexus...etc

I absolutely love BMW designs, and I love the 3er (though I still wish it had the raised trunklid). These 3 coupe photos leave me still wondering. I love the front end, the side profile, the overall body shape. However, I'm not clear about the rear end. The rear lights seem too thin and the top of the trunk seems round and plain, all quite unlike the other BMW models. These photos all look real and exactly the same, except the headlamps on the white one posted by Bobby which look wider (and better) than the other two; as such, I want to assume the final product will still be somewhat different. I love the BMW designs in pictures, and even more in the flesh (or rather, sheet metal); while I don't dislike this, I may have to wait to see it or at least see more pictures, or preferably wait till it's official before forming a definite opinion.
