SEMA Preview: Mopar Jeep Wrangler Overland
If travel and adventure is your thing then the Jeep Wrangler Overland, modified by the Mopar design team, might just be for you. The 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon got turned into a mobile “on-the-go” self-contained campsite. For hauling gear, the cargo capacity was increased by replacing the rear seats with a large, flat, rubberized utility floor.

An all-new ARB two-person Simpson II rooftop-mounted tent and touring awning is mounted to the cargo rack. The interior was equipped with water-resistant Mopar front-seat covers, rugged Mopar slush mats, a Daystar dash bin and lower switch panel that powers added accessories.

Thats the point of the wrangler, you build it to your own needs! There are millions of aftermarket accessories for the wrangler. Why not be unique and make one custom to your own?
or go to aev-conversions.com and get a hemi wrangler!!!!

The Rubicon is on the right track but not good enough stock, check out how low the gas tank is, its below the rear axle and even worse is how low the oil pan is, its also below the front axle, I am a fan of a low center of gravity but stock height it could become damaged easily, the way it is you must lift it at least 3 inches. I would like to see this Rubicon to come with stock 33-35 inch tires and with the Hemi, and a 3 inch lift with bigger fenders, also the interior space is poorly used, my civic has a larger interior and the Jeep is larger, you think Jeep would know this? It would be nice if you could buy it all done, and the only reason one would want to do it themselves is if you let someone else do it they will just put some stickers and shocks onto it and call it an off road package, and all they have done is created a princess with a high center of gravity and no improved suspension flex, so typical. The best example of how it should be done is the Mercedes fun Mog, it's all done and more capable than the H-1.

This is a no brainer for Chrysler to build. Helps getting around Cali's "cool car" rules too.
