2010 Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition sold out

2010 Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition sold out
Here is one reason why you shouldn’t put off purchases for the Christmas season. A limited run of the 2010 Jaguar XJ on Oct. 6 sold out in four hours and four minutes since it became available for ordering.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that the 2010 Jaguar XJ was going to be featured in the Christmas Book, also known as the Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition. There were only 50 special edition units made, each with a price tag of $105,000. This isn’t the first time that Jaguar was featured in the Neiman Marcus Christmas book. It had been featured twice before – the XKE Grand Touring Coupe in 1968 and the Jaguar XK8 Convertible in 1997. Richard Beattie, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Jaguar North America, said that having your product appear on the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book is a “spectacular way to launch the Jaguar XJ.”

thats a pretty car that i think will get alot of attention in the coming years. jaguar finally broke the mold for 40 years and went outside the box with this as for the XF(but the xf needs major interior overhaul). i was getting tired of the submarine look. nice job JAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So is it an XJ or an XF? Article says XJ, picture says XF.

Wait, that's the new XJ?! *whimper* It looks too much like the XF in front, I think it lost the classic personality that makes it a Jag.

Back 3/4 looks great, interior... the photos make it look small because of how much it wraps around but it probably is quite spacious (incidentally I love the interior of the XF). I just can't get over that single monolithic front grill. The XF and now the XJ have that, it just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the car.

I have seen XF's in person and the large grill reminds me of the 300 sometimes, but I think it does not fit aesthetically with the rest of the car.
