Jeremy Clarkson has world’s best job, report says

Who are you most envious of? The usual suspects are of course the celebrities and the world leaders but did you think about the TV star who gets paid to drive sports cars? If you did, then take comfort in the fact that there are many of you.

In a survey conducted by Shell and Auto Express, it was revealed that one in three respondents said they were envious of TV stars who get paid to look rich and glamorous. The TV star beat off competition from Nigella Lawson who attracted a fifth of the votes, twice as many as adventurer Bear Grylls who was third. Then came Simon Cowell, the Queen, Richard Branson, Cheryl Cole and President Obama. David Beckham was sixth followed by JK Rowling, Hugh Hefner, the Pope, and Father Christmas. A total of 1,621 adults participated in the survey. Shell and Auto Express conducted the study in order to launch a writing competition.
