Good video, but it has graced the Autospies site before...

I still love watching that video even though I've seen it about 10 times. I think Top Gear is the best car show out there, I love the way they review cars, too bad it's not on in the states anymore!
The M5 is a beast!

I recommend that folks watch this flick all the way through. Sure, the speaker sensationalized somewhat, but the report is fundamentally an accurate account of the M-5. It's ugly, unnecessarily complex, annoying, and prone to failures (on a grand scale!), but when you kick it up a notch in M Mode, it is transformed to the Most Wonderful Car In The World.
The question is: Can you enjoy the wonder in the M5 by forgiving it for its myriad sins? Look to sales figures to provide that answer.

Dissin you r just dumb..anybody used to BBC top gear knows that unlike car and driver and all those crappy car shows that you get and where at the end of the day if the car can't drive in a straight line they r telling you well its stilll good cos its powerful..these guys do not BS and they tell you like it is..Just like this site sometimes so get with it...they aren't looking for endorsements from car companies..but are more concerned about what makes sense and what is practical and what most regular folks would look for...U need to watch alot more of them...silly my ass..funny yes (british humor) but to the point...

unnecessarily so IMHO. Recently, when at the BMW/MB dealer in my CLS (came to let this guy see one up close at dealer's request), Iasked what other cars he was considering besides a CLS55. He said "M5". I took one look at his diminutive blonde arm jewelry, and suggested he would be better off with the CLS if she was to be an occasional driver. I can't imagine my wife enjoying the M5 unless she was into track day stuff. While the M5 was .6 sec faster than the CLS in this comparison, the CLS only requires that you get in an drive...no extra buttons for power, etc., and in town, it is about as comfortable and easy to drive as it gets.

Quit complaining and drive the damn car. It is a 4 door Bimmer with a V10.
