Video: Rally America Crew Holds a 2010 Mustang Showdown

The last thing you’d expect to see zooming through Bemidji, Minn. at the Ojibwe Forests Rally is a 2010 Mustang, or any Mustang for that matter. About five years ago Mark Utecht bought a rally-prepped ‘86 Mustang from his friend Mike Hurst. The two have had some “conversation” over the years about who has been better behind the wheel of that Mustang over the years, so J.B. Niday, managing director of Rally America, decided to settle the feud once and for all through Ford’s ‘10 Unleashed campaign. Read more

Ken Block and DCshoes.com have brought us yet another amazing fun machine packed full of Subaru goodness. A lifted Subaru Impreza WRX Sti sitting on top of 3 foot of tank tread is how Ken Block hits the slopes of Guardsman Pass, Utah. Ripping through snow drifts and blasting down snow covered roads this Trax Sti brings a whole new name to the world of Subaru. Surprisingly, the vehicle is very nimble even though it sits up so high! Instead of getting cold and wet on a normal snowmobile, the Subaru Trax Sti keeps you surrounded in creature comforts of an automobile while blasting down paths intended for snowmobiles and skiing enthusiasts.

These tank like tracks can actually be purchased through a manufacturer called “Mattracks”. No pricing information is listed, but these treads are heavy duty and can support vehicles up to 8,000 lbs! Say good bye to the days of being locked out or in your cabin due to heavy snow. With Ken Block’s Trax Sti fitted with Mattracks, there is no stoping you! Suitable for other terrains beside snow, these are suitable for all the avid offroad fans out there who love to get their Subaru dirty. Read more

Video: Nissan GT-R reaches 186 mph in 19 seconds

The Switzer P800 Nissan GT-R is not a toy. It’s so fast, even a camera can’t catch it! It is an extremely precise machine for achieving top speed in very little amounts of time. Twin turbos, free flowing exhaust, all-wheel drive, and a custom tune brings this monster to 186 miles per hour in only 19 seconds! The Nissan GT-R is a very nimble vehicle straight from the factory but adding the Switzer P800 performance package really wakes up the inner beast. Nick named Godzilla, this is one screaming JDM that means business with over 700 horsepower!

Not many cars can beat the Nissan GT-R combined with the Switzer P800 performance package. It’s kill list goes on and on! Whether in the straights, or through corners, the P800 GT-R is a daily driver for those who love speed and insane amounts of pull. The Switzer brings in an insane 0-62 mph time of 1.8 seconds! The best part about this beast, is that it achieved the esteemed 186 mph time by using pump gas and some white knuckle driving. For around $125,000 USD, one can own a saber toothed wolf in cuddly sheep’s clothing.

That was 3 mins and 12 seconds of my life I want back! I thought I was going to watch a credible timed run for this car with official oversight of time and speed....and I get that!

What's so hard to believe? Did you see how the car went through the first 4 gears? less than 7 sec!

The author commented "0-60 in 1.8 seconds..." I suppose you counted that too!

Here's what I find Impressive...a V700 Hennessy Cadillac CTS-V can hit the 1/4 mile in 11.07 sec at 128 mph....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8As1zshWxn0

Meanwhile...according to Jalopnik...a Switzer GT-R with a claimed bhp figure of 700 hits the 1/4 in 11.28 sec at 132 mph.

Honestly, IMO...that doesn't make the GT-R as impressive as the Cadillac....I mean really, imagine the face of the Guy who just blew a whole lotta cash on his 700 bhp GT-R...only to have his you know what handed to him by a 4-door Cadillac! Priceless!!

That's nice...

A Veyron can hit 186 in 13.8 seconds... Does it really matter though? When in God's name are you going to be even ABLE to hit 186, unless it's on the flatlands...or in Mexico?
