In Matte black it looks stunning. The car has grown on me more and more despite it's semi-awkward look. I would prefer the concept look more but hey what ever tickles Toyoda's fancy!. It's a head turner and for that expensive price for a Toyoda made car it better be!. The car will be a success. I just hope they use this to inspire the rest of the lineup (which is quite frankly very boring!). Two thumbs up.

Success or not, it's more important TOYOTA implant the technology and tuning to other lines, hopefully a 3000lb 7.5-8000 rpm coupe, which I thought HONDA would've built later, but probably not.

The interior actually looked pretty nice with red leather and red carpets, which we saw from press pictures and pictures taken by the press themselves. I too found the interior of the SEMA show car above a little... bland.
um The picture from the Lexus build-your-own thing shows the LFA in shiny black, not matte black, in case some of you guys are a bit confused.

Take a look at the hood release (11 picture down, 5th from the bottom). It looks like the same type of hood-release that you will find in a Yaris. For $375k they couldn’t do any better? It amazes me how Lexus is able to get stuff like that past its costumers. Only in the US though, the rest of the world can spot a fake a mile away. And that’s exactly what the LF-A is, a fake. Who in their right mind would choose that over a ferrari?

^when will you shut your mouth? No one cares what you think. If that hood release came from a Yaris, guess what - it should last longer and work flawlessly whereas anything in a Ferrari is sure to break in weeks.

- That statement alone puts you into the retard category.
And who in their right mind would want economy car switch gear in their $400,000 car? Only the retarded Fanboys that accept anything the lexus produces would accept that.

You contribute nothing to this site, all you do is B**** about one single automaker - are you that obsessed? I rarely, if ever, see you make any comments in other threads unless its to trash Toyota. Get a life.
For the record I am no Lexus fanboy, nor will I ever own or drive a Toyota/Lexus.

Stop trying to silence someone. If you don't like what I say then you don't have to read it. Complements and criticisms usually go hand-and-hand. But you appear to only be able to tolerate the Complements. Get used to it dude. You will never silence me. Last time I checked, criticizing a car isn’t a federal offence. You need to lighten up.
Also, How is noticing that cheap looking hood release delusional? Do you see it as High Quality? LOL!

Why does the matte black look like the body panels are different shades? Is lexus's quality control that bad? Look in pictures 3, 4, 7 and 13... it can't be raw carbon because there is no weave. I will complement the neato center console but also wag my finger at the disjoint dash that appears to be placed without rhyme or reason.

oh? I don't know what you're talking about, I changed my avatar a few times in one day and then changed it one final time... I wouldn't call that constantly changing it. That being said, recently my Audi bashing has gone down quite a bit. I present myself as very contrarian. The strength of my opinions mirrors and opposes many of those that I read. Call it a weakness, but I prefer to look at it as providing the community with an alternative view.
Basically, I avoid bandwagon jumping.

People are saying its overpriced because the fact its a Lex which is pure bullshit.Respect the car for what it is. Some reviews are saying its the best super car they have ever driven. Most are saying its the most balanced and best thought out car in a long time. So for these claims and even in the supercar category in general,$400,000.00 is about average.

M35T,
Kind of hard to spend time with my daughter WHEN SHE IS AWAY IN COLLEGE (1000 miles away). And besides, Show me a 20 year old lady who wants to spend all of her time with her Father. It's obvious that you do not have any kids.
I spend about as much time here as you do. But when you compare our posting history, you’ll see that you post to more different threads, and post more individual replies than I do. Which means that you are a more active user and spend more time here than I do. So how are you spending your time?
You know what the real issue here is? The real issue is that the Toyota folks believe that Toyotas are perfect and lash out against any kind of criticism. Kind of like what you are doing now.
So this is the Toyota Lovers:
Wah! Wah, Wah!... I hate hearing people criticize Toyota, please make them go away. Boo hoo.

LexSucks.. I don't feel the need to insult you at all, I'm simply stating a fact. This is just a classic example of how the 'truth hurts'. Fact is, we all know how much you HATE Toyota/Lexus (hence the user name: LexSucks).. WE GET IT! I find it funny that you're the one telling me to lighten up. And speaking of acting.. You act as if Toyota/Lexus took your lunch money or something. These so called opinions you have about any Lexus or Toyota product, 100% of the time stem from your personal annoyance of Lexus fanboys and their claims. If you truly were a car enthusiast, you wouldn't be spending ALL of your time fighting off closed minded fanboys. You find any and every reason to take a dump on anything Toyota or Lexus builds just to get back at these fanboys which is amazes me now that I know that you're 40+ years old.
I personally like that car and how it was executed. Do I think the car is worth $400,000? The truth is, I honestly can't answer that, because I have never driven a Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, or the LF-A for that matter. I don't know what people with that much money to spend on a car really look for in a supercar. However, I do have common knowledge about these cars and their capabilities. This car is a great first attempt for Lexus, but it still has quite a ways to go to catch up to the BIG BOYS.

Lemonade,
It’s amazing what people will dream-up about someone all because they don’t agree. We’re here to talk about cars. You making it personal suggests that you're the one with the issues. Now you’re calling me “lonely”. Why must you insist on making it personal? I think you'd be better served by staying on topic and not getting all personal. I guess that's what happens when you are not sure of your convictions. You switch the story because defending Lexus can be a losing proposition as you are finding out. Next time provide a stronger argument. When a person switches the argument and starts to make it personal it means that they (you) don’t really have an argument.
FWIW, for the most part I do not post here during evening hours. I guess it’s because I'm too busy being "alone". LOL!!
If you want to make it personal, let’s take it offline. I'll show you my facebook page and all. But only after you share some personal info.

I like coming on Autospies and reading re-posted material from other sites. Let me tell you something, the reason these Agents keep you on here is because you help create traffic on this site with your ignorance. Oh and trust me, I do NOT want to see your facebook. Also in the November issue of AutoCar Middle East, the magazine said LFA is a better SuperCar and faster than Ferrari 599 HGTE. It would be their choice between the two. LFA is receiving great initial reviews (First Drives) from all magazines.
