SEMA Trends: Wrap It Up

Ever admire the look of the “Gravedigger” monster truck and wish you could get the same shiny, attention-grabbing treatment on the family’s Honda Odyssey?

Yeah, there’s actually an app for that. Spectra Chrome products, the same outfit responsible for that Gravedigger paint, chrome and graphics package, is marketing a spray-on chrome product that “allows you to apply a brilliant, durable, mirrorlike, flexible chrome finish over virtually any surface.”

Spectra was one of several thousand companies – including other purveyors of chrome products for car bodies, such as Cosmichrome — exhibiting new products at this year’s SEMA Show here...

I would like to see the Hyundai done M3 style with just the roof carbooned. Wraps are a great way to do something stupid to your car as you can take them off when you are done and your car will be better than if you had not wraped it. I also think they could be used in an elaborate bank robbing scheme.
