Can A Model Refresh Ruin A Perfectly Good Car?
Honda routinely does what it calls a minor model change about halfway through a vehicle's life cycle, even if the model is selling well.

So the current-generation CR-V, launched as a 2007 model, gets a change for '10 — but not so minor, it seems.

Differences in the version that went on sale in September include engine, styling, interior and standard features.

Honda accountants probably had fierce arguments with the engineering-driven company over that.....

So it gets a big gaping smile, better wheel choices it appears, and they still have not gotten rid of the weird ripple boxes in the plastic lower paneling. The headlights now look like they were abruptly cutoff on the bottom. It looks more like a Hyundai now.

But it's a chick small SUV and always has been so I'm sure the ladies will keep buying while Honda keeps shooting itself in the foot.

Question is, is it better to update or to not update. I wonder how Toyota will fair in the coming years with that new thought process.

P.S. - I could be wrong and this picture above could be the current CR-V, I'm not too familiar with the car.

the front end is an improvement.

now they need to DO SOMETHING about that ugly greenhouse, with that stupid D-pillar that only german car lovers could like.
