PHOTO GALLERY: Real Life Shots And Video Of The 2010 BMW X6 Active Hybrid
This week, I had the opportunity to drive some of the 2010 product from BMW, one being the 2010 X6 Active Hybrid.
We tested it at the headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, NJ and I can tell you this for sure...it is like NO other Hybrid you've ever driven and is more fun to drive than most of the best sedans out there!
Enjoy these fine shots we took of the car.

Agent 001, thank you for the excellent review and video of the new BMW X6 Active Hybrid.
When you were driving down that street how fast were you going?
It seemed like you were going about 60mph.

Thank you.
My spotters closed off the street so I could do the video safely.

Good Gawd Gracious, another article trying to convince us the X6 is a really nice car, we just have to look real hard from different setting to different colours to different angles. I'm sorry but even the professional marketing staff of BMW can't convince me this thing is nice let along amateur photographers like Autospies agents.

I think the x6 looks really cool. To each their own. This version of it looks a bit more playful than the standard version.

What I said on YouTube: lol - got a few questions
Those wheels look like they actually have some function; however, I find them to be kinda odd looking - the fact that they looks like they're ventilating air out of the brakes instead of inward makes the wheels look like they're moving backwards.
I like how in the press pictures, if they weren't photoshopped, showed that the wheels on the left and right sides are different - less odd looking, but, at least, are the front and rear wheels interchangeable? If? not, tire rotation might be even more of a problem.
Btw, thanks for taping the X6 at the point-of-view of a normal guy's height (although pictures from lower POVs also didn't make the X6 look awkward either ...blah... press pictures are so bad these days) - that's the way it was meant to be viewed as. The car is really low, and it has a nice low, muscular stance. I don't know why so many photographers want to make the car look? like it's tip-toeing or something...
Love the extensive wood trim on the center console and the expansive, thick, supple leather surfaces.
What's the function of those vents above the gauges?
(Sorry if some wording sounded weird - YouTube has a very restrictive character max.)

I actually LOVE the X6!! When i moved to southern california 4 months ago i started seeing a lot more of them and think they look awesome in the flesh and among other cars in traffic (when i first saw pictures of the X6 I thought it was ugly, but not its the only SUV I would consider) I'm guessing thats going to be the case with the Hybrid wheels because in pics they don't look all that good, but I'll take your word for it, 001 that they look good ;)

What I meant to say was 'good' as in comparison to other hybrid wheels that need more aerodynamics.
