2010 Lexus GX460 to make its debut next week in China
Lexus announced today the debut of the 2010 GX460 at this year’s 2009 Auto Guangzhou. Also, the new SUV will stand next to the Lexus ES240, a new vehicle powered by a 4-cylinder ES240 which will be available only in China. The debut in China, will be followed by the U.S. debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on December 4th. Regarding the launch date, Lexus confirmed that the GX460 will hit the dealerships by January 4th, 2010.

Off subject: I think the ES240 would do great here in the states because the average buyer of that vehicle could care less about power.

Why ES240, not ES250? Are they trying to use up the remaining ubiquitous 2.4s? Good, maybe then all those remaining models running 2.4s (tC, Corolla, Matrix, xB, HS250h, Camry hybrid) will be upgraded to 2.5s in North America.
