Subaru recognized as the only manufacturer will all vehicles rated a ‘Top Safety Pick’

Subaru of America announced today that it has been recognized as the only manufacturer with all of its vehicles named a TOP SAFETY PICK by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). For those who don’t know, The TOP SAFETY PICK recognizes vehicles that show the best protection for people in front, side, rear, and now rollover crashes.

We are extremely pleased to be the only manufacturer with all vehicles named a TOP SAFETY PICK. This is an outstanding success and a tribute to the engineering that goes into Subaru products.

Funny using a pic of the WRX, as it was the only car IIHS excluded from the top safety pic. This is due to the lack of ESC, I believe. Good color combo though.

The WRX comes with ESC STANDARD they didn't test it that is why...they think it is a different model because the power trains, suspensions and wide body kit of the STI. The body is the same for safety.
