It's OFFICIAL: Glickenhaus To Stun Automotive Community AGAIN
If Jim Glickenhaus' first creation, the Enzo-based P4/5, did not stun you, perhaps his next one will.
I suppose it is his forte to create jaw-dropping one-offs because he is once again tackling this with his next plan; the P4/5 racer which will be dubbed the Competizione. Although details remain sketchy, at best, we do know this is what Jim posted on FerrariChat yesterday night:
"
No Longer Red but a Flashing Green
...
Things are starting to come together. It will take time but there is excitement and real interest.
Thanks to my Partners in this adventure!
This will be some trip and it has begun.
P 4/5 took on a life of her own.
May P 4/5 Competizione follow her example."

OMG. Make a dream exotic car even more desirable! What a car.
I envy the guy getting his hands on this.

So I need to envy a person who takes an already built car from a different manufacturer and alters it's paneling, engine, whatever else? No thanks, I'd rather envy DeLorean.
Saleen is a great company in retrospect that built it's own car (S7). Let me know when this Glicken does the same. Personally I've never heard of him before.
And on that note since I am working for a HUGE deboost here it seems, I am not fond of these articles on tuning companies who make alternate versions. Sure they are worthwhile and add appeal, but I never see them on the road, people rarely buy them, and it to me becomes a waste of pages in a magazine that could have been filled with more information on cars the public actually buys.
