Out of that list I probably only do one of the choices and thats not signaling. If im on a major road or highway ya ill signal, but if im on a side street or some backroads i dont use it as much.

The most aggravating drivers are the left lane sitters. They drive me nuts.

I hate the guys that do not know that the left lane is just to advance. Regarding the high beam pointing to you rear mirror, I just redirect the mirror to the rear driver and problem solve.

Left lane sitters are the worst..I it virtually always somebody in a Lexus or Toyota..it is uncanny..I can be sitting 20 cars back..stuck and sure enough..some idiot in a Lexus or Toyota is causing it..and subsequently causing everybody else to make unsafe manuvers to get around them. The unfortunate part is the I doubt many Lexus (maybe IS drivers) or Toyota drivers read any of this. Before you flame me..drive from Orange County to LA one day then tell me I am wrong.

Occarnut, you are so absolutely right. Unbelievable, I have had that discussion with many high miles drivers like me and we all pretty much agree on this one. Even my wife one day thought that I was just being 'prejudiced", so during a trip I told her to pay attention, he it never failed, it's a Toyota or a Lexus that slow poke on the left lane, that turns without using its signals, makes an illegal u-turn or block 2 lanes at the traffic lights because they are sideways trying to figure out where they are going.
I have a theory (sarcasm engaged); Toyota has some kind of chemicals that are slowly released inside of their cars, maybe in the seat or something, that basically numbs the human brian. I mean besides their horrendous driving habits, and probably the cause of it, take a look at those Toy/Lex drivers when they are behind the wheel, they look half asleep or even catatonic... LOL.

The one that I see daily is when it is only one lane and they are in front of you they drive slow, as soon as you are able to pass they always seem to double there speed, this is daily! where do there ass holes come from?

I thought I was the only driver in the world that has to deal with this. You got to wonder if the driver is terrible, just an ass, or both.

As much as I would love to hate on "time wasters" I don't see any justification to get aggravated. Even if a driver signaled that they are turning and the road that I'm trying to turn out of was the next most immediate turn for them (like in the illustration), I would NEVER assume that that's definitely the turn they're going to make. Trust me, there are a lot of drivers out there that signal wayyyy far in advance and assuming you can pull out onto the road in front of them because you think they'll be turning off of it before you is a mistake. So far, I've witnessed two collisions happen as a result of this kind of scenario. One while I was passing by an intersection in the next lane over and the other I caught in slow motion as I was swiveling around in the back seat of a civic to catch a pathfinder out of the corner of my eye a few milliseconds before we ended crushed between two cars.

I agree with Occarnut and Yonder7. Left Lane sitters are the worst! Also Metro Detroit does have some of the rudest drivers on the planet. No one here seems to understand slower traffic keep right!!

I try to do everything on that list every time I drive.

When approaching a 4 way stop, there will be a car sitting at the stop sign. If they see me approaching from a block away, they stay at the sign until I join them at the intersection. If I was approaching excessively fast, or the road conditions were terrible, I would understand. I fail to see the point on a perfect day when I am traveling at sub 25mph speeds. I think these goons are just out trying to be a part of your life. Just go already!!!

Here is another one... merging on a slow moving HWY. Normally the merging driver should adapt her/his car speed to the moving lane and then merge between two cars so the flux won't stop. Right ? Well... there are so many idiots that will accelerate to the end of the merging lane then brake while forcing everyone on the moving lane to brake also.
