Which BMW 7-Series did you think look the best so far?
Out of all the 7-Series that BMW have made in the past and even including the one that is being made today, which model do you think was the one that carried the best design out of all of them?

According to my point of view and my kind of taste, here is my list

E38
F01/F02
E32
E68

What do you think?

Can we add a "negative-boost" button to the top?

The new 7 series in terms of design, is in a class of it's own when compared to the competition. It doesn't look at boxy as the LS, or as curvy as the S class. It makes me stare at it.. Looks good from every angle.

The new 7-Series has a good look to it. HAs some design cues from the Lexus LS.

For its time, yes the E38 was by far the best inside and out. Aspecially the one with the M-Package or performance package. Forgot what it was called.

the current model makes the older versions look like horse drawn carriages! exponentially better looking!

It probably is the 1987 E38.

It was BMW's late awnser to the aerodynamic revolution of the '80s (a la '79 S-Class Mercedes and '82 Audi 100) flush windows & aerodynamic shape. And although BMW persisted with the 1982 facelifted E32, by the time 1987 came around the 7-Series was due for a major re-vamp.

I will never forget the day I first saw an E38 on the road in Nigeria, 1988. Two in one day. A Diamond Black 735i with cross-bolted alloys sporting the "M" motif on the boot-lid and front air intake grill and a 730i in Lachs Silver. All I could shout aloud was,"it looks like a "capsule"!"

Enough said.

Sorry!

Got my codes wrong. It is the 1987 E32 7-Series.

We're allowed our occasional hiccups.
