SPIED: Cadillac's Mean-Looking, Possible M6 Killer

SPIED: Cadillac's Mean-Looking, Possible M6 Killer
Just after yesterday's release, it seems that spy photographers have been hiding away their findings.  Making today's headlines are photographs of the CTS-V Coupe making moves.

Funny thing is, it looks exactly the same as I saw it way back in August. Seems like spy photographers did not want to publish these photos until today, interesting.

It appears that the facade will largely inherited from its sedan counterpart, but where it gets interesting is the dual, centrally-located exhaust out the back.

Knowing that it will be equipped with the sedan version's engine, producing over 550-horsepower, on paper it certainly looks like it could possibly be an M6 killer.  Especially when the sedan did such a good job at harming the M5's street cred.

I just dont see it. Not even when I saw it at the autoshow. Not impressed at all by the looks. Sorry

Looks pretty decent. Has a good chance of taking it down.

BMW owners are notoriously single-minded, like ants or termites. Their Queen can say or do no wrong and no matter what is in the way they will climb over, under, walk around, or damn well eat through. Cadillac, however is building a reputation for itself and even if it does out-do the BMW the media would only say so in their usual hushed I-hope-BMW-is-reading-this-freaking-article-and-does-something-quick tones. Will Cadillac ever have that kind of following? Perhaps not in the near future, primarily because BMW obtained it by years and years of doing things right. Doing things "righter" isn't possible, so Cadillac has to stick with doing things "right too".

While this vehicle may give the M6 a good run for its money, I highly doubt it will be a M6 "killer".

I think Cadillac is doing a great job but they are a few model years off of "killing" ANY BMW at a game they have been playing for years.

M6-killer? I don't doubt it at all, for the Cadillac Vs "kill" a lot of German products, however isn't this closer in size to a 3-Series Coupe?
