According track-side sources, the 2010 Dodge Viper ACR has set a new unofficial lap record at Laguna Seca of 1:33.944 as the final year production cars make their debut. At least they're going out with a bang.

The viper is not dead ofter 2010. The news of the 2010 model is X amount to be produced and thats it for 2010. Im sure there won't be a Viper Ferrari mating [at least I hope not] two very different cars. It will be interesting to see the 2011 model. Gillis said there are other more pressing issues than to speculate vipers next model. I agree.
