Why does every lexus have to look like anothe car? I doubt Lexus Ripped off the slow selling RL for one of its largest selling cars.

It looks like the front fascia of a Acura RL and the rear looks like an IS. The interior is not bad but why the oval shape in the center console? I think styling cues from the new LS, GS, IS would be better off. Staying unique on the inside won't do any good because without a distinct exterior there is no winning combo. Im sure the interior has great quality and fine finish. Nevertheless, thumbs down regardless of the expected quality.

If there were ever a geezer car then the Lexus ES is it. The only folks that I driving that car are blue hairs. The ES is the Japanese equivalent of a Buick. Lexus’s Profit margin for that car must be astronomical. Throw more leather and sound deadening material in a Camry and charge $10,000 more for it. Whoever spends that kind of money on such a lame car is a fool IMO.

I keep trying to tell the difference between the lexus models, new and old. They really all look about the same to me.
