The upper vents on top of the Nav screen scream 1980's Toyota.

I dont like the shape of the instrument panel.

Exactly what one expects from Lexus.

More of the same.

The dashboard is a valley of nothingness!

Just like the exterior!

News just in: "Insiders have reported today that Lexus designers were so overwhelmed with the task of designing a decent-looking IS, that the new LS and ES were just 'slapped together' in minutes.

"We couldn't be arsed, frankly" Stated Lexus' Head of Design.

"Our designers brains were so tired from the IS project, that they managed to finalise the LS and ES designs in a few minutes".

"We didn't even do any computer or clay modelling, which is why the new LS and ES look crap from almost every angle".

When asked about the design for the ES dashboard, the Lexus HOD had this to say:

"There was a copy of a Cirtoen C5 brochure in the design studio lunchroom. We just used that".

earlier when I posted these pics....it is a warm up of the Camry, plain and simple.... And I really see no need for it in the Lexus line up other than try to boost sales numbers and capyure some of the Bluerinse Set.

I agree with James, if a car was made with universal appeal then it wouldn't be so special anymore now would it? Everyone who can afford a 30-40K car would flock to their dealership to buy it and it'll just become another car in the bunch, nothing special or unique.

LEXUS 100% CAN'TTTTTT AND WILL NEVER MAKE THIS DESIGN BECOZ JUST LOOK AT AVALON AND CAMRY.THEY LOOK BETTER THAN THIS.THEN WHERE WILL LEXUS FIT THIS CAR INTO IT'S LINE-UP.

JUST TELL ME HOW WILL LEXUS ABLE TO CHARGE $10K MORE OVER A CAMRY FOR THIS ES AND WHO WILL GIVE THEM $10K MORE OVER CAMRY FOR THIS.

DON'T TELL ME THAT LEXUS/TOYOTA R MAD,THAT THEY DESIGNED CAMRY AND AVALON BETTER AND RUINED THE BEST SELLING LEXUS (ES).
