The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP-560-4 Polizia has been totaled. Sad news, as the police-Lambo crashed near Cremona this past weekend. The story states that the Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia swerved to avoid a car exiting a petrol station, where they then ended up driving into a bunch of parked cars.

geeeee...really? So the cop is cruising down a city road, which means he should be moving at 40mph at most. Then a car pulls out of the gas station, and instead of easily using the lambos super sick brakes and handling to avoid the situation, they have to hit a whole bunch of cars and get the lambo totalled? Yea right...sounds like they were doing 100+. good for them, now they can go back to their fiats

100mph, are you INSANE? The car would be dust.

Based on the damage, at time of impact he couldn't be doing more than 25-30mph.

Based on the pictures, it appears that it is or just rained.

Good for them? Who do you think pays for the cars, tax payers. Good for who? They pay enough taxes in Italy, with all of their socialist programs.

Ok genius...I didn't say the impact was at 100mph. I'm sure they scrubbed off a lot of speed until the impact.

Hmmm..........funny how SOCIALIST european governments have exotic police cars (Italy has Gallardo's......Britain has IS-F's) and yet we capitalist Americans drive 10-15 yr old Crown Vics...

So..........it's lunacy to have a 200k sports car be a POLICE car. Sure it looks cool but it ignores basic common sense.

In South Africa we have BMW M3's as undercover cars, the Golf 5 GTI's work as the 'flying' squad cars around here. Ford Focus ST etc.

Of course the guys with the Lambo's don't really cause enough trouble for the cops to chase them, so those little beasts can pretty much get everyone else.
