Said to release in February 2010, the new Boxster Spyder may strike people are impractical, unrealistic and even downright foolish. But you have not heard it or seen it being driven, have you?
We are about to change that.
Remember, this is the bad ass version of the Boxster. This is not a poser car. Hell, the top on this hardcore Porsche, which is essentially some cloth and a metal post, makes the Lamborghini LP640 Spyder's joke-of-a-top look sophisticated. But you do not buy this car if you want a fully-automatic retractable hardtop, you buy this kind of car because you want to connect with the car and hear the symphony blaring from its exhaust. You don't order the optional sound system!

- 3.4 liter, six-cylinder motor producing 320-horsepower
- Lightest contemporary Porsche available -- weighs in just over 2,800 pounds
- Limited-slip differential
- All-new sport suspension, which lowers the car 22mm
