SPIED: Porsche's NEW Cayenne Steps Out Of Hiding
It's not long now until Porsche replaces the Cayenne SUV, its most controversial model line ever. Probably. The new Cayenne Mk2 will arrive in spring 2010 with a raft of changes to keep buyers and politicians alike happier with the idea of a hulking great sporting SUV.
Our new spy photos reveal how the new 2010 Cayenne will adopt a slightly softer form language. The back lights appear to be less upright, with a more horizontal shape, split between rear panel and tailgate; the rear of the car appears more pinched for improved aerodynamics; and the front grille is now a less fussy design.
As is the wont of designers at the turn of the decade, the Cayenne's face is dripping with LEDs...

I understand there is a lot of masking here so i hope that is why i do not like what i see.
Keep fingers crossed that they do not make a mistake with the new Cayenne, the current one is snug {Cramped} enough inside.

Hasn't Porsche steered too away from making purist sports cars long enough? Making a profit while making a dent in its brand image is one thing, cannibalizing sales within the new Porsche-VW group makes absolutely no sense at all.
Unless of course this is just a rebadged Veedub, oops I mean Audi.

Exactly what i was thinking. Looks like an X3/ GLK/ EX competitor.
Current Cayene is not exactly known for its cavernous interior.
