Lexus' LF-Ch, Could We Miss Out On ANOTHER Great Car?

Lexus' LF-Ch, Could We Miss Out On ANOTHER Great Car?

A Lexus rival to premium hatchbacks like the BMW 1-Series and Audi A3 in the U.S. has been speculated on for almost the past year but back at September’s Frankfurt Auto Show we got the first concrete evidence that such a car was in the works with the unveiling of the LF-Ch concept car.

A production version of the LF-Ch is expected to go on sale by the middle of next year overseas but there’s a major hurdle for the car coming to local showrooms.

The problem is that most reports have suggested that the North American market will likely miss out on the new compact because of pricing issues...

All I know is that in England - if you have a Lexus your cool and different. I stayed in Surrey last year, people talked about Lexus, the young folks there say that everyone has a Bimmer, it's Lexus that gets talked about, most ppl have the low powered 5 series, All the GS in England are the 350 or 450h - there is no entry level model for Lexus in England except for Diesel IS. So where are you getting Lex has no image in Europe? Ppl in England love Lexus, even Birmingham and Bristol. I know, when I went there I drove around in an '08 CLS Diesel, then had my hands on a GS 350, all the kids wanted to joy ride in the GS, one almost got arrested.

Agreed. I don't get the enthusiasm for this car. It's butt ugly and too small to be useful or desirable.
