Some of you people need to get a clue.
This si a concept. Evrybody who knows anything about thy way these concepts work know that the production car will not look exactly like the concept. Sure there will be things that remane the same but some it will not. Including the interior (looks cool but is not realisticly functional) The sharp edges. (I bet they get softened). The nose. ( I bet it gets a small modification)
The car makers put these cars out there to be wowed and so they can listen to the reviews.
Some of you "Americans" need to be more suportive. If you have real critizm, put it in a contructive manner and quite being so scared of something so cool.
Also, anybody who thinks its to retro just does not like the Mustang and Ford is selling those right and left.

I think it looks decent, although I'm not a fan of the whole retro style thing. Why live in the past? They need new designs that are progressive and appealing to the younger generation, not the geezers who are going to purchase this car. I had a Camaro in the 90's, which was okay at the time, it was fast, handled decent and looked pretty good for the time, they need something new, not that I would go back to a Camaro at this point!

Retro styling is controversial. This is a good thing for GM. They must take risks at this point. The car is, however, very modern in it's creases, and high belt-line.

If they can keep this thing close to the concept car, which I'd be surprised if they do, they may be able to grab some of the under 30's demographic with it's high-tech look. Interior MUST look like this. GM has to start to invest in it's interiors after over a decade of complete neglect. Wide panel gaps, cheap plastics, and rubbermaid interiors have to go. This is unacceptable in a modern vehicle.

I think it will succeed if it stays close enough to the concept car. I feel that Ford stayed true with the Mustang. Hopefully GM can get it right.

This new Camaro concept car is UGLY! The grill looks like cheap and tacky plastic. The Mustang and Challenger are clean, handsome, though conservative designs. But this Camaro is not a clean retro design and it is not a handsome original design. It's embarrassing.

After looking over these pics, I find the car to be a mish mash of Camaro, Caddy, and other styling mixed together. Steve, sorry to correct you but this is the car they will build. They had two models of the new Camaro and this one got picked. The other one, which looked much better and more like the 67-69 style was not picked by GM because it was "too traditional". Hmmm, isn't that what people want? The Mustang is selling like crazy, the Challenger will do the same. This Camaro will not fare as well.
The unemployment rate is 4.9% so I can safely say that 95% of the guys listing reviews work for a living. And my hard earned cash will not be spent on any GM product. Try again.
