Danica Patrick To Race In Both IndyCar And NASCAR in 2010
Danica Patrick will drive for Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s NASCAR Nationwide Series team in 2010, a source close to the situation told Sporting News on Monday.
The formal announcement will come Tuesday in Phoenix, home of GoDaddy, which will sponsor her car. The announcement will end months of speculation about whether Patrick would race in NASCAR.
She will run a limited schedule in the Nationwide series and will run all 18 races in the IndyCar series. Details that will be announced today and in the weeks to come include Patrick's schedule, car number and crew chief.

Dale Jr blows!!! he should just retire and be a car owner.
He ruined the number 88's reputation of being a winning car.

OK she's not the fastest driver in the field, but guys, but not the slowest too, so she way faster than all of us. In motorsports, unlike other sports such as Baseball, ice Hockey, football and .... uhh... cricket, the body mass is not that important. The only reason there's is not a lot of females in motorsports is the same as why there's not a lot of males doing ballet.
In the not the kind of sport in which they are pushed into while being kids.
Out of the total of pro drivers around the globe, the % of female is about 1%, and the % of all of these drivers making it to the big leagues is less than 0,5%, that's why it's unlikely to see female in F1 or Nascar.
It's only a question of probability.
Alain Prost is 5'5 and weighted 140 pounds at the time he was racing, and nobody complained about is face, which was not the prettiest around.
He won 4 world championships.

I once had respect for Danica Patrick. She is now officially driving in NASCAR? She has no credibility with me now and has entered the ranks of the has-beens. She can now kiss...both sides...of my ass...
