Review: New Jaguar XK-Year of the cat?

If Jaguar is in trouble — and with worldwide sales under 90,000 versus a goal of 200,000 just a few years ago, you'd have to be forgiven for thinking so — it's hard to tell from the attitude of those responsible for the new XK sports car.

Managing director Bibi Boerio and his design, engineering and marketing team seem downright enthusiastic about this car — and the company as a whole.

So what's the car like? In short, darned good.

It's always a challenge designing a Jaguar. On one hand, there's so much history: the XK 120/140/150 series, the amazing E-Type, the XJS and the outgoing XK8.

The front end looks like a ford Taurus. The whole car is very boring looking. Blah, Blah, Blah

There is absolutely nothing exciting in the design of this car. Luxury Sports cars MUST be exciting to drive but also to look at.

Jaguar is still a crappy car.
