Heavy Duty RAM is Motor Trends Truck of the Year

Heavy Duty Dodge Ram or Ram to be exact is the Motor Trends truck of the year. The cummins diesel meet emmission standards to 2015. This says alot for Dodge to beat the popular Ford and GM entries. In a world of small compact high mileage cars we all know that trucks of this nature are necessary. Dodge has raised the bar with the availablity of exhaust brake, updated interior appointments, jell ride cab and others. Will Toyotas one-ton entry stack up?

At least it's a real truck, not like when they picked the Subaru Outback as SUV of the year.

Or when they picked the Honda Ridgeline as truck of the year. What won't change is that Ford will still outsell Dodge regardless of this. Personally I would love a Lariate edition F150.
