VIDEO: Porsche's Updated Turbo Does 0-100 With A Coke
There are some things that are just jaw-dropping. 0-60 times that are nearly three and a half seconds certainly will wet any enthusiast's appetite. But, when you are talking serious hardware, it comes down to track times and 0-100.
As Chris Harris of Evo explains, he believes the fastest car he had driven to 100 was the ultra-rare Pagani Zonda; it did it in eight seconds. Certainly no slouch. The downside to all of this hooliganism is that it took a lot of effort to hit that eight-second time.
With Porsche's 2010 Turbo, equipped with PDK, it does not take much sweating to nail that hair-splitting time.

Chris Harris can't drive worth shit, he needs his car to be able to do it for him. A zonda should be netting about 7.1s to 100mph. 7.9s is what a regular z06 should hit.

his 0-60 time is slow - most are getting around 3.1 secs for a 997 turbo coupe with PDK. He looked like he was gonna choke on the coke

Chris has raced professionally for years in several British touring car series. The Zonda is rear wheel drive and has lots and lots and lots of wheel spin and no traction control yum-yum to keep it in check.

Maybe you did not notice the Windshield Wipers Going at Medium Speed.
That might mean there was Err. Rain.

Fabulous and yet revised again 911 Turbo. But I would much rather someone like Richard Hammond to review a Porsche or Jeremy Clarkson instead of this bloat Harris. At least if you`re going to be doing goofy things do it entertainingly. That`s why Top Gear is number 1.

How easy it is to do 100mph in under 8sec in the revised Porsche.

oh, I just replayed it and heard him say he released the brake at 3000 RPM. If he had done it correctly (at above 5K) he would have gotten that 3 sec 0-60 time and probably would have had the coke coming out of his nostrils

Porsche has a second rev limiter at 3000 RPM on it's launch control.

3K RPM launch control? Never heard that before - No 3000 rpm limiter according to other rags that have driven the 2010, they all launched at 5K.
