Renault considering a return to the US market

Renault will just be built in Nissan plants anyways. It's just called rebadging and restyling a bit.

French cars always had comfortable seats. My first brand new car was a Renault Dauphine. Its top speed was only 70 m.p.h. which helped me to talk my way out of a speeding ticket once on a highway. I had a write-off accident with it within a year so I never got to experience the rust that people with long memories still complain about.

Lots of luck. A fool's errand.

Renault's brand is kind of "taboo" in the US, the should brand their cars as Nissans. Smarter move, as Nissan is well established in north america and also because the dealer network is already there. In case Renault is not well received in the US, having them linked with Nissan trough dealersips could eventually harm Nissan's reputation.

Stick with Nissan.
