A Man Of MANY Words, Top 25 Quotes From The Man, The Myth, The Legend: Not The STIG

Jeremy Clarkson certainly has a way with words. One of my personal favorites was in reference to the new Caparo T1. “When this thing goes on sale, there isn’t going to be a ditch in the land or a hedge row that isn’t full of Premiereship footballers who are broken and on fire.” Enjoy.

1. “I’d like to consider Ferrari as a scaled down version of God.”

2. [On the Porsche Boxster] “It couldn’t pull a greased stick out of a pig’s bottom.”

3. [When driving the Mercedes SLR McLaren through a tunnel] “When they debate as to what the sound of the SLR engine was akin to, the British engineers from McLaren said it sounded like a Spitfire. But the German engineers from Mercedes said ‘Nein! Nein! Sounds like a Messerschmitt!’ They were both wrong. It sounds like the God of Thunder, gargling with nails.”.....

I like Clarkson's deadpan humor style, kinda reminds me of David Letterman sometimes.

He is a nice guy that always says what he thinks in the same way as a road roller opens an egg. I like Top Gear.

I dont think there is a person more polarizing than Jeremy Clarkson to me...On one side he is funny, witty, direct and loves cars..On the other hand he is snobby, tends to over dramatize things and often contradicts himself on multiple opinions...

I am going to have to say X-nay on the Ruce Lee-bay.

You cannot be serious?

Although you are right, Clarkson may not leave a large impact across the world, there are better people who fought for bigger causes than kung-fu.

Jeremy Clarkson is a British prick (not that all brits are like this). I have no need for him to keep stealing my oxygen.

JC is very polarizing, while I don't share many of his views, his powers of humour are great enough to keep me enthralled cursing at him and his British bias.
