SPIED: Honda's CR-Z Gets Exposed To The Masses

The very interesting Honda CR-Z has just been unveiled thanks to some detective work at Temple of VTEC.

Its exterior is sporting some bold lines and some very interesting design cues that has yet to be seen on any other Honda. It certainly is a much more vibrant hybrid than the Honda Insight, which is rittled with conservative lines.

On the inside, its dash looks vaguely reminiscent of the Insight, with controls laid out in just about all of the same places. But, look at the seats! They appear to be well bolstered and wrapped in hide.

Temple of VTEC reports:

"A new set of CR-Z photos has appeared somewhere in the Japanese webtersphere. All of these are higher resolution than the original set that popped up two weeks back, but there are a few new pics that weren't included in the first set."

Looking good to me. Honda kept it very close to the concept. I hope Honda put JDM Civic Type R engine in it and sell it in more markets this time.

Its face looks like it belongs in the Mazda lineup. Everything else, though, looks like a more natural reinterpretation/evolution of the original Insight coupe.
